Eyes Scream

She had big beauiful eyes but When loves goes sour and he starts looking elsewhere for his kicks, the pain cuts deep. Made as part of Sheffield Independent Film's 'The Skill' with a budget of £2000.

First time director Wendy Richmond and DOP Andy Lowe combined with a very talented unpaid crew to make this interesting and powerful story. Our locations were in a disused factory fifty yards from my house which meant at least I was tucked up, ten minutes after we wrapped. It also meant we could use multiple locations within the same building allowing for good prop, equipment, crew and cast management. It was very cold in the unheated building but the shoot went to plan with a very hard working art department crew under the guidance of Jude Dennis. We struggled with the final effect but just about got there. We were put out by an unexpected festival involving the entire local Somali community in the next building. There was much dancing and singing.
