Sheffield Hallam Fine Art Final Year piece bringing together well practiced crew from the art school, The Northern media school and The Sheffield Film making community. perhaps the neatest and most fun production to date. We filmed at night in Summerfield supermarket on Ecclesall rd and on locations within a 200 yd radius. Shot by Chris Perrins and Dave meads on BBC scotland Film stock. We managed the shoot from a one page script. The film was in Will Bone's head and Ruth Carter floor-managed the complex action and series of tracking shots. Will is a sculptor - now a professional editor in london with an instinct for managing 3 dimensional space and controlling imagery. I was taken 'ill' on the last day of the shoot and had to be escorted home. The film was screened for free on ITV's 'baggy shorts' in 1997 and was made for a total cost of £600. Ultra stylish art direction by my long time friend, art director and stills Photographer Farhad Ahrarnia.
