Written By Leon Ballin and Directed By Shahin Afnan in 1998, the film was co-produced with her and Rebecca Mark-lawson of lifesize pictures.
The film was pre-produced in two weeks and was filmed on location in a small house in the Lincolnshire fens. We took about twenty people from Nottingham and Sheffield fully expecting the house - described as a mansion to be adequate. We slept five or six to a room and spent five days filming in one small room. We shot around a double bed which left only enough room for the tripod and a small crew. Everytime we moved camera we had to move the bed and the props in order to accomadate the increasingly sweaty crew. The shoot was very relaxed and good natured and we completed on schedule. I shared the lino floor in the kitchen with the owners dog. Aggh the glamour of film making. Twenty people with three tons of equipment make quite a mess of nicely manicured front lawns. Think Glastonbury! Sorry to the owner. I also remember we accidently broke the bedroom door off its hinges during the final scene.
